Scituate Pediatrics follows the guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics. We do not allow changes to the immunization schedule set forth by the American Academy of Pediatrics

Scituate Pediatrics cannot and will not do any alternative immunization schedules.

To protect the health and safety of all patients in our practice, we require that all patients follow the recommended vaccination schedule. At this time, we are not accepting new patients who are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated.

Families who choose not to follow the recommended vaccination guidelines will be asked to seek care with another pediatric provider whose policies better align with their preferences. Our priority is to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all children and families in our care.

Vaccines and Appointments

• Scituate Pediatrics is now offering the RSV vaccine for babes 11 lbs. and over up to the age of 8 months.
• We have a limited amount of Covid vaccine for babies from 6 months to 11 years of age.
• Scituate Pediatrics is now scheduling Flu vaccine appointments.
• Please contact the office for more information and to make an appointment.

Practice Updates:

• We are accepting new patients, but must follow the American Academy of Pediatrics Guidelines, no exceptions.
• Prescription Renewals: All prescriptions for regular maintenance should be called into your primary care doctors office between Monday through Friday and please give 48 hours for it to be filled.
• Scituate Pediatrics offers rapid covid testing, rsv and flu testing.
  
• Call our office to schedule covid and rsv vaccines.
• If you are sick, you need to wear a mask in the office at all times.
• NEW! Our phones are now on at 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday through Friday
  If we are not open when you call on week-ends, you will be directed to one of our covering practices. Patients are to call the office and they will be directed to the office that is open .
• If you are experiencing any type of symptoms, such as cough, sneezing, congestion, and/or runny nose, you will be asked to wear a mask.
